A great game that works like Battleships
There used to be an Amiga game where you played Battleships and when your boats were hit you would lose the number of shots you could fire. This game is sadly not like that game. It is not as fun as the Amiga version, but it is still the funniest version of a modern Battleships game. Clash of Vessels VR only allows you to fire one shot at a time, but you can see your shot go off and you can see when one of their missiles hits you. It would be good if you could take your battle GUI and move out into the sea so that you may get an idea of where the shots are coming from. The Amiga version had terrible graphics, but it added more to the Battleships game, and that is what Clash of Vessels VR is crying out for. It is good, but it could be so much better if the developers had taken a risk and added a few extra (albeit optional) features, and if they had concentrated a little harder on graphics.
It could be better, but it is still good
If you like Battleships, then this is the best you are going to get during its year of release. There is a great deal of room for improvement on this game, but since other offerings are so poor for Battleships lovers, it appears that you will have to learn to love this game for now.
